When scheduling an appointment, please briefly tell us the reason for your visit, so that we may reserve the appropriate amount of time for you. Your initial appointment includes an evaluation of the problem, a thorough discussion of the treatment options, and a brief medical history and exam. Once the most appropriate treatment option has been determined, a surgical appointment, if necessary, may need to be scheduled. (A patient must be re-examined if he/she has not been examined within three months prior to a surgical appointment.)
Only an estimate of the time needed to evaluate or treat your condition can be made when the receptionist schedules your appointment. The time actually required to treat your condition is determined by the health care provider during the visit. Additional appointments may be necessary to determine the cause of, or most effective treatment, for your condition.
While seeing the health care provider, please confine your concerns to those for which you have been scheduled. Additional concerns can be addressed at your subsequent appointments. This courtesy helps us to serve you and our other patients promptly. Thank you for your assistance and understanding.
We appreciate your effort to be on time for your appointment. We strive to see you as promptly as possible. If unforeseen emergencies and patient needs occur that cause delays, we will try to notify you and offer you the option of waiting or rescheduling. If you are late, we will attempt to work you into our schedule without jeopardizing other patients' time, or offer the option to reschedule. If you are unable to keep an appointment, please advise us immediately. This courtesy allows us to be of service to other patients and may benefit you in the future when scheduling an appointment. If you do not notify us at least one day in advance of missing a scheduled appointment, you may be assessed an office visit fee.
